Restarting Tiamo Services
Admin Server not Available

How do you know you have this problem?
You have received the following error when starting Tiamo software: "The admin server is not available at the moment. Program will be closed."
What can I try to resolve it?
To access these services, right click on “My Computer” and select “Manage”.
Double-click on Services and Applications.

Double-click on Services.
Alternatively, from the Start menu of your PC, search ‘services’.
Scroll to find Metrohm Tiamo Admin Server and Metrohm Tiamo Server.
Right click on Metrohm Tiamo Admin Server – select Restart.
Repeat for Metrohm Tiamo Server.
- Ensure that user logged into the PC has full access to the Services menu.
What are some ways to prevent the problem?
In Services menu, right-click on Metrohm Tiamo Admin Server.
Select Properties.
Navigate to “Recovery” tab.
Select “Restart the Service” from the drop-down menu for the first, second and subsequent failures.
Verify that ‘1 minute’ is displayed in the “Restart service after” command.
Click Apply, then OK.
Repeat for Metrohm Tiamo Server.

In Services menu, right-click on Metrohm Tiamo Admin Server.
Select Properties.
Under “General” tab, ensure that Automatic is selected for ‘Startup type’.
Click Apply, then OK.
Repeat for Metrohm Tiamo Server.
