Hardware configuration:
- Locate Ethernet port on Touch Control or Ti-Touch back panel. Connect Ethernet cable between instrument and network Ethernet.

PC configuration - Server Message Block (SMB) protocol must be changed.
- Port 8005 must be opened, verify with your IT.
- Windows 10 file share required programming, see Appendix I.

-
Reporting recommendations:
- For Ethernet transfer, if user and/or password changes, then report won’t be generated. If a method isn’t programmed to save data file to an external flash drive or network drive, then reprinting reports isn’t available.
- If the IT department changes computer or domain, then the report won’t be generated.
- If the Ethernet cable is long, there may be a data delay by the network. Always verify transfer rate or if there is competing transfers at the same time with your IT department.
- For Ethernet transfer, the TC or TT must be on the same subnet mask as the directed folder. Download IP calculator from Metrohm website software center.
- If multiple instruments are transferring data to the same directory or folder, then create a separate share directory or folder to prevent data delay or loss.
