Introduction
Determination files in Viva contain the full configuration of an electrochemical method, including parameters, evaluation settings, and calculation formulas. Exporting these files allows you to back up your methods, share them with other users or instruments, or transfer configurations between systems. This guide walks through the process of exporting determination files from Viva so they can be safely stored, shared or imported into another installation.
Procedure
1. Navigate to the database window of Viva.
2. If a database is already open, proceed to step 3. If not, navigate to File → Open then select a database.
3. On the toolbar, locate Tools → Templates → Export Templates.
4. A window of export templates will appear on the screen. At the bottom left, select “New”.
5. The following screen will show up. Fill in the “Name” and “Target Directory” fields.
